Founded 1749 by Breton nobleman Ferdinand Poulain; converted from sugar/tafia to dedicated agricultural-rum production in 1820, expanded under the Bellonnie brothers from 1923. The southernmost operating distillery in Martinique, and the physical still today serving the whole BBS/Rhumantilles portfolio (La Mauny + Trois Rivières + Duquesne brands), under Campari Group since 2019. AOC Martinique, 40-62° range. Free tours/tastings in harvest season (mid-Feb to mid-June) with visible working machinery; on-site shop 'La Cabane à Rhum.' Mon-Fri 10:00-16:30, Sat 10:00-12:00, closed Sundays.
