Founded 1765 in Saint-Pierre; relocated to Sainte-Marie in 1902 (the year Mount Pelée's eruption destroyed Saint-Pierre) — a pioneer of Martinique rum tourism. Houses a rum museum in an 1875 building plus a working 1925 steam-locomotive plantation railway. AOC Martinique, bottled 40/50/55°, aged 'Élevé Sous Bois' range; distributed by Bardinet. Museum/shop free entry daily 9:00-17:00; distillery-floor visits are paid and limited to harvest season (~mid-Feb to late June).
