Every time someone books a villa, a boat or a table in the Caribbean, a slice of that money leaves the island. We added it up across 30 islands: about $1.95 billion a year in platform fees (a modelled 2024 estimate), paid by local businesses to companies based in Dublin and San Francisco.
Caribbein is our answer. We build the software Caribbean businesses run on (rentals and villas, charters, restaurants, tours, transport, sports clubs, schools) and we give it away: no subscription, no setup fee, no per-seat pricing.
We earn one way: a flat 10% commission, only on bookings we bring. Same rate for everyone. And 20% of every commission, from day one, funds local projects islanders vote on. A €100 booking means €10 to us and €2 back to the island.
The app is built for islanders first, booking each other for everyday life, and for visitors too, in English, French and Spanish. Work began in January 2026. The public beta opens on 28 September 2026 and runs for one month on Saint-Martin, Sint Maarten, Anguilla, Saba and Saint-Barthélemy. Official launch: 1 November 2026.
Caribbein is based in Saint-Martin (97150), French West Indies. Not a Silicon Valley company doing Caribbean tourism: a Caribbean company making its own software.

Nous avons fait le calcul sur 30 îles : environ 1,95 milliard de dollars par an de commissions de plateforme (estimation modélisée, 2024), payées par des entreprises locales à des sociétés basées à Dublin et à San Francisco.
Caribbein, c’est notre réponse. Nous développons les logiciels dont les entreprises caribéennes ont besoin (locations et villas, charters, restaurants, excursions, transport, clubs sportifs, écoles) et nous les donnons : pas d’abonnement, pas de frais d’installation, pas de tarif par utilisateur.
Nous gagnons notre vie d’une seule façon : une commission de 10 %, à plat, uniquement sur les réservations que nous apportons. Le même taux pour tout le monde. Et dès le premier jour, 20 % de chaque commission financent des projets locaux choisis par vote des habitants. Une réservation de 100 € : 10 € pour nous, 2 € qui restent sur l’île.
L’application est pensée d’abord pour les habitants, qui réservent entre eux au quotidien, et aussi pour les visiteurs, en français, anglais et espagnol. Le travail a commencé en janvier 2026. La bêta publique ouvre le 28 septembre 2026 et dure un mois, à Saint-Martin, Sint Maarten, Anguilla, Saba et Saint-Barthélemy. Lancement officiel : 1er novembre 2026.

Cada vez que alguien reserva una villa, un barco o una mesa en el Caribe, una parte de ese dinero se va de la isla. Hicimos la cuenta en 30 islas: unos 1950 millones de dólares al año en comisiones de plataforma (una estimación modelada de 2024), pagados por negocios locales a empresas con sede en Dublín y San Francisco.
Caribbein es nuestra respuesta. Creamos el software con el que funcionan los negocios del Caribe (alquileres y villas, chárteres, restaurantes, excursiones, transporte, clubes deportivos, escuelas) y lo regalamos: sin suscripción, sin cuota de alta, sin precio por usuario.
Ganamos dinero de una sola forma: una comisión fija del 10 %, solo sobre las reservas que le traemos. La misma tarifa para todos. Y desde el primer día, el 20 % de cada comisión financia proyectos locales votados por los isleños. Una reserva de 100 €: 10 € para nosotros, 2 € que se quedan en la isla.
La app está pensada primero para los isleños, que se reservan entre sí en el día a día, y también para los visitantes, en inglés, francés y español. El trabajo empezó en enero de 2026. La beta pública abre el 28 de septiembre de 2026 y dura un mes en Saint-Martin, Sint Maarten, Anguilla, Saba y Saint-Barthélemy. Lanzamiento oficial: 1 de noviembre de 2026.
