From up here, every island looks alone.
It isn’t. A small island is a tight loop of neighbours: the same few thousand people, moving the same money round and round. When the loop grows, everyone in it grows. When it leaks, everyone feels it.

Each one runs on people who already know each other.
Every year the world comes to visit, and it pays well. Some of what it spends stays with the people who did the work. Some of it leaves the moment a card is tapped, and never comes back.

04 · On the ground
An OS for every trade. One app.
A restaurant on the Grand Case strip. A salon in Sandy Ground. A school at Concordia. Villas on the Terres Basses hills. Boats at Oyster Pond. Every one runs on its own OS, and every OS runs to the phone in a neighbour’s hand.
Locals booking locals as much as visitors booking providers: the taxi driver filling an empty seat on the way back from the airport, the yoga instructor picking up students on the next island over, the provider who finally has a tool built for how they actually work.

Zoom out. This is how it works right now.
Green is the world coming to the Caribbean: bookings paid from New York, Toronto, Paris, London, São Paulo, everywhere. Most of it stays, with the host, the crew, the kitchen. They keep most of it, and they should.
Red is the platforms’ margin on those bookings, and the tax on that margin. It leaves the Caribbean and lands where the platforms book their margin.

One thing changes: a booking made through Caribbein is booked here, taxed here, and spent here.
We take ten from a hundred, only on bookings we bring you. Fill your own calendar and we earn nothing. The ten stays on the island: two of it, 20% of every commission, funds local projects islanders vote on, from day one. The loop closes.
It starts in Saint-Martin and spreads island by island. Under the dome, red bends back and turns gold. Outside it, the margin still leaves. That is the work ahead, not a finished fact.
