FOSAJ — Fondasyon Sant d'A Jakmel (Jacmel Arts Center)

Culture · Jacmel · Haiti

Founded 2003 by Haitian artist Patrick 'NarBal' Boucard and South African artist Kate Tarratt Cross, one of Haiti's only full-spectrum arts centers — training in music, theatre, fine art, photography, dance and the papier-mâché mask-making tradition tied to Jacmel Carnival. Its own domain (fosaj.ht) failed to resolve at time of research; its Facebook page (facebook.com/jacmelartscenter) appears to be the more actively maintained channel.
